Welcome
On 9th May 2008 my dear friend Mike died in hospital following a pushbike accident. I have set up this website so that people who knew him could post their reminiscences, condolences, stories and pictures.
If you have any stories, pictures, or anything you'd like to say about Mike, please send it by email to miketribute@gmail.comfor inclusion. If you wish your post to remain anonymous please let me know in the email.
Mike was a practising Buddhist for something like twenty years. As a Buddhist he believed in past and future lives, the law of karma, and the possibility of developing to perfection such good qualities as loving kindness, compassion, concentration and wisdom.
Many of Mike's friends were fellow Buddhists, from the community where he lived for many years, and from all over the world.
To the non-Buddhists reading this tribute, some of the terms and ideas expressed in various posts may seem a little strange and unfamiliar, for which we, his Buddhist friends, apologise!
